Krishna Pakala is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering at Boise State University. Recipient of multiple teaching awards, including the 2023 National Outstanding Teacher Award. His research focuses on innovative teaching strategies, emerging technologies, and mobile learning.

Eric Jankowski
Eric Jankowski is Professor and Director of the Micron School of Materials Science and Engineering. His research areas focus on applied molecular simulation, inclusive computing, and reflection in engineering education.

Anne Hamby is an Associate Professor of Marketing at Boise State University. She studies the ways in which stories engage and influence their audiences, as well as other aspects of consumer psychology.

Patrick R. Lowenthal
Patrick Lowenthal is a Professor of Educational Technology at Boise State University. He specializes in designing and developing online learning environments. His research focuses on how people communicate using emerging technologies–with a specific focus on issues of presence, identity, and community–in online learning environments.

Brooke Heller
Brooke Heller is a recent doctoral graduate of the College of Engineering at Boise State University. Her research focuses on improving undergraduate engineering education and making classrooms more inclusive.

Angela Minichiello
Angela Minichiello Ph.D., P.E. is a U.S. Army veteran, registered professional mechanical engineer, and Associate Professor of Engineering Education at Utah State University in Logan, Utah. Angela’s research centers on engineering academic and career pathways for nontraditional, minoritized, and underserved student populations. She is a 2021 recipient of a National Science Foundation (NSF) Faculty Early Career Development Program (CAREER) award for her research examining assets-based cultural wealth and professional identity development of U.S. military veterans and service members enrolled in undergraduate engineering programs.

Jelena Pokimica
Jelena Pokimica is a Clinical Assistant Professor with the Department of Organizational Performance & Workplace Learning. She holds a Doctorate in Education Policy, Organization & Leadership/HRD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She has considerable experience in teaching a series of courses in organization development, instructional design, facilitation skills, principles of human resource education, and research methods in a systematic manner and with a keen interest in both conceptual and applied student learning.

Uyen Nguyen
Uyen Nguyen earned a master’s degree in mechanical engineering technology at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in engineering education at Utah State University. She is a lecturer at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (2012-2024) and is responsible for curriculum design for the engineering drawing course across all majors at the university. Her most recent work develops support tools in self-study for students participating in civil engineering drawing and engineering courses. Her research interests include exploring innovative teaching methods, addressing challenges to improve the overall quality of education, and developing course syllabi and curricula.
