Embedding Personal Narratives in Engineering Courses to Improve Engineering Student Success

This NSF-funded project investigates the use of personal narratives and storytelling within engineering courses as an approach to supporting student success. Led by Krishna Pakala and an interdisciplinary team at Boise State University, the project brings together expertise in engineering education, educational technology, communication, and learning sciences. The research examines how integrating stories into engineering learning environments can shape students’ educational experiences and contribute to more supportive approaches to undergraduate engineering education.
