This NSF-funded planning project explores opportunities to transform mechanical engineering education through stronger industry engagement and the thoughtful integration of artificial intelligence. Led by Trevor Lujan and an interdisciplinary team at Boise State University, the project focuses on planning for educational changes that better connect engineering curricula with evolving professional practices, emerging technologies, and the skills students will need in the future engineering workforce.
